July 5, 10am – 3pm: Teams will go to apartment complexes that Mission Arlington serves in and will work with the families and teach Bible studies to kids. When groups first arrive, Mission Arlington will give an orientation and have directions and information for each of the church groups going out to serve. Groups will go out in the morning and knock on doors, inviting the families to come to the Bible study time that afternoon.
July 6, 1pm – 5pm: Students can help church planter Matt Prather conduct neighborhood canvassing. Teams will share brochures about The Bridge Church in various neighborhoods inviting people to a worship service. In addition, students will have an opportunity to perform city beautification projects on behalf to the church in order to build goodwill between the congregation and the townspeople. Don't miss this opportunity to help!
July 4, 5pm-10pm: Help church-planter Darren Lemons and The Refuge Church serve residents during the Terrell Independence day celebration. Teams will help run games, organize a corn hole tournament, pass out pop-ice and inform people about the church. This is a great opportunity for The Refuge Church as the city of Terrell has given them the privilege of participating in their annual city-wide celebration.
